Levels, XP, and level-up celebrations

1. Earn XP with the pet

   Battles and snacks can increase pet XP. Favorites also share study XP from qualifying expedition rewards.

2. Fill the level bar

   When the bar is full, your pet levels up. A stronger opponent is generally more worthwhile than repeatedly fighting a much weaker one.

3. Watch after the battle

   If your pet levels up in battle, its full-screen level celebration waits until the battle is finished.

4. Know the level limit

   The normal pet level limit is 100. Extra growth after the cap is handled as mastery rather than pushing levels toward 999.
