Start a training battle

A useful way to practice and earn pet XP.

  1. Open Battle arena

    The first screen shows all battle choices and Local trading. You do not pick pets before choosing an activity.

  2. Choose Training

    Pick one to three healthy pets, then start.

  3. Practice your plan

    Use real levels, moves, health, and the items in your inventory. Try guards, boosts, and switches.

  4. Collect the pet XP

    Training is a practice path for pet XP. It does not hand out a normal wild-battle coin reward.
